Both Gary and David are well known experts in freediving equalization and have been running workshops all over the world for years. Now they will be bringing this expertise to the Academy

If you are:

Struggling with equalisation?

Stuck at a certain due to injury or eq failure?

Or want to build control and awareness you can rely on every dive?

This 2-day in-person course is designed to give you a complete understanding and control of Frenzel equalisation—whether you’re just starting or refining advanced technique.

No shortcuts. Just structured coaching that works from two UK record holders

What you’ll gain:

• Clear, repeatable and safe Frenzel technique

• The ability to equalise deeper, more safely, and with less effort

• A full understanding of what’s actually happening when you equalise

• Increased awareness and control in the water

How the workshop is structured:

This isn’t just theory or just water time:

• Dry workshops (breaking down mechanics step by step)

Targeted drills to build control and muscle memory

• In-water sessions each day to apply and refine

You’ll leave with a method you can continue to develop long after the course.

Who is it for:

• New freedivers who want to build the best base for progression

• Freedivers who can’t equalise consistently

• Divers stuck at a depth plateau

• Anyone wanting to make their diving safer, smoother, and more efficient

Workshop’s Schedule:

Morning theory and skill assesment followed by a dive session. Afternoon theory and practice covering equalisation, physiology, dry EQ exercises, and troubleshooting .

Day 2 - improving - theory and open water

You will apply the techniques you have learnt to your dives, learning dive structure to get the most from your Frenzel. Afternoon theory will leave you with dry drills and training to progress in future.
