WAVE 2 - Advanced Freediver
learn how to train your body for freediving and how to hold your breath for more than two and a half minutes. Topics include pre-dive optimization, improvement of Frenzel equalization, and an introduction to monofin technique.
Course Overview
Ready to go deeper? The Wave 2 Advanced Freediving course is your second step in the Molchanovs system, where technique sharpens, depth increases, and freediving starts to feel like second nature.
Building on your Wave 1 foundations, this course takes you further into the physics and physiology of freediving, introduces mental training and mindfulness techniques, and refines your breath-hold, equalisation, and rescue skills for both pool and open water.
You'll learn how to incorporate freefall into your dives, perform advanced rescue techniques, and safety dive other freedivers at serious depth — the skills that separate recreational divers from confident, capable ones.
